History: Melinda is the first woman of Pendragon van der Wiel. Her intelligence was what inspired love in Pendragon, though also her beauty influenced it. She died saving her son Percival of dying drowned, something that affected him very much, though Ginebra (his stepmother and the second wife of Pendragon) helped him to overcome it little by little giving him all her fondness and loving him as if he was her real son.

Melinda was born in a noble family in Adysia. Her parents were counts and they had many important business in Adysia and in other influential cities. Her marriage with Pendragon was planned the same day in which she was born, for what both grew united and in love. They never objected to this marriage because they were wishing if from children, probably for the mere fantasy of a real love or because they understood what their union was meaning for Adysia and for it they never said openly what they were thinking about this matter.
